  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRABAPPLE, & THANKS FOR THE MANY FUNNY EMAILS! HAVE A GREAT ONE! SNOWY ;D
  5. the hawk that attacked mine (which had a bad wing) from a very short distance out flew the hawk by weaving left to right, up & down. it was amazing to see, i was just so shocked, as the pigeons was on loft roof, then out of tree behind loft, flew the hawk, a maximum distance of 25 metres from loft roof to my back door, he grabbed a handfull of feathers, but to watch the pigeon dodge from left to right, up & under was now looking at it amazing, so it must be some kind of instinct.
  6. its supposed to be the same with humans, not all men, but some with high testosterone levels their ring fingers are bigger, mine for example is quite a big difference, look at your own , then look at your partners & you will see the difference. ;D http://www.abc.net.au/science/bernie/news/s43596.htm

    control?

thanks all, the young one westy reared, late last year, we started handling him from 10 days old in & out the loft, before he could even fly, we took him down the bottom of garden & watched him run back to the loft, he used to fly on our shoulders all the time looking for a nut, it made me so mad when westy told me that! > even worse, he waited untill westy was on his own, (the secretary takes westy & the secretary went to the bar & then this so called winner of 2005 told westy) i would love to win any one race this year! & say to that scared to lose fancier "it must have been that flicking it worked a treat" "thanks for telling us that tip" just to see his face.

  17. not so much nesting material, but i thought i would give this a try, i got a large clove of garlic, chopped it into 6 pieces & put it under the nest box floor grill directly under the bowl, just incase any mites are around, i dont think this would do any harm.
