  8. yes pecky me wanna see too a lot of white birds are just bred for their colour , but these logans grand parents have flew from barcelona, very good homers,. & are late late breds from last year, so still young. the one logan we now have has laid only one egg,( cuz still pretty young) and it was infertile, so not pushing her, so fostered a racer off another & she is doing 100% in fostering the young en, looking very fat(the young en , not me)lol. & wing slap your fingers off given the chance,. so looking good.

well said bewted, just use em as trappers, keep say 2 pairs keep em paired up & only let cocks out when you want logans in, & the fans willdash in helping the logans to trap.

  11. yes we use cds now & has made a big difference, young westy wears them every time he is up the garden near the loft

as westy said dont let them out if your fantails are sitting on roof, as they will pick up the habbit, shooo them off roof & dnt let them in untill they fly, its a lot of running around, but it worked for us, "me & westy" (and im the one doing the running around) lol. ;D even my 2 first eldest birds (badwing & his mate) (roof sitters) trained them now too. flying for an hour without touching roof.(apart from once or twice)
  15. hi ted, how old was the bird & how long did you have him? did he only fly round the loft & roam?
  16. well said beautyhomer & bewted, any pigeons brought from anywhere could be good or bad, at least these are getting people into these lovely & gracious birds.

  22. all young birds back in after 45 mins flying apart from two. 1 of them experienced & well rangeing, 2 the other, bred from parent & grand parent winners and only flew round for a good half hour yesterday with another 8 young birds, for the first time, and not in site 15 mins after all the others in, what would you do.?? let a young (eldest y/bird out who flys well out to try & coax her in) or let 2 birds that just sit on roof sit on roof & hope she sees them

once young birds are flying & homed & leaving their feed after being fed of a night, about 2-3 oz lying on loft floor, apart from the odd greedy one or 2 still eating but all crops are full,? and young birds going awol, even the oldest & experienced one we bred, does this mean we are feeding to much?? all answers appreciated? thanks

    Feeding ybs

after all young birds are in & most are roosting, there is about 2 ounce left on loft floor, the odd bird or 2 will carry on feeding but some is left till morning, obviously feeding too much, & wondering why young birds are sitting on roof full & not rushing in for feed next day, please explain this to young westy, as he is not believing me. thanks all
