While putting the birds through tonight for our first young bird race of the season, I experienced a lot of hassle with the ring sensor reading the rings, a lot of rings had to be scanned 2 or 3 times before they eventually registered, this happened every 3 or 4 birds. I have known this to happen on the occasional bird, but not as much as did tonight. Anybody experienced this before? or any idea what might have caused this?
