  1. The International winner from Marseille 2025 in the category "Old birds" is Alexandre Beaucamps from Pont St-Maxence, France. The pigeon with band number FR23-56322 was clocked on Friday at 17:15 after a race of 707.146 km, with an average speed of 1121.36 m/min. The winning pigeon came from the combination of Rene Van Roose (Gebr. Scheele/Gery Etuin/Harold Zwiers) and Claude Ledoux (Hoflack x Gebr. Scheele) bloodlines. Congatulations!
  2. 1st pigeon of Marseille, preliminary 25th national, very happy with this hard race and most pigeons on the east side. Now 3 pigeons in the top 46 national. Proud of my team.πŸ₯°πŸ˜ŽπŸ₯³ The first pigeon has Silke, Jef and again "Porsche 911" inside, it seems this "Porsche 911" line is doing great crossed with marathon pigeons on marathon races. That's one of the reasons we introduced "Marathon Porsche" πŸ₯³πŸ₯°πŸ˜Ž

  14. Tarbes Grand National Liberation Update The Tarbes Grand National has been liberated at 14:00 hrs in a northeasterly wind. Along the route, the wind turns westerly around the Nantes region and is forecast to be westerly across the Channel, becoming southwesterly in England tomorrow. The decision to liberate today was made after carefully considering the poor weather conditions forecasted for both France and England on different days, as well as the high temperatures at the race point. Holding the birds any longer would have meant a significant delay. As always, our primary concern is the welfare of your pigeons and ensuring they have the best possible opportunity for a fair race. As many are aware, the liberation of birds has occurred under unusual circumstances. Taking this into consideration, the committee discussed this afternoon the current verification rule. For Friday, the verification rule will be relaxed during working hours. Any pigeons timed in before 6:00 PM may be verified up until 7:00 PM. After 6:00 PM, the normal verification rules will apply. Additionally, there will be no limit to the number of pigeons that can be verified. We hope this adjustment will support working fanciers during this exceptional situation. Good luck to everyone!
  15. Copied from Facebook 17th July 2025 Update. As much as I know this is going to cause much debate I’m letting you all know a decision to liberate this afternoon has been made so with letting you know as soon as it’s been made will help people to prepare for tomorrow. Rich and Steve have been in conversation all morning and for the welfare of the birds this afternoon is giving the birds the best chance as if we don’t go today looks like it would be Wednesday/ Thursday next week where we would be able to lib. As I’ve said on previous post we have made this decision for the best interest of the birds and if it upsets a few members I would rather that than make a decision to make members happy at the cost of the birds. I will update you all further when i know more.
