  1. I have a little christmas money left. I like the look of the Jan Theelans so may have a dabble if any there at a reasonable price. Taking wife so can't let her see how much my new hobby is costing!!i see Louella are also taking some pairs for £40 so may have a look at those. Anyone know if any Jan Theelans will be sold there.

ian axe has the jan theelans but i'm sure there will be more :)

  4. join NPA Bit expensive really for a few rings , there plastic and can easily be cut of which defeats the getting the rings in the first place

thought about that mark but don't want to go into these in a big way just a few about the garden,i'll maybe speak to the fancy pigeon fanciers at blackpool and see if they can help me out if no one on the site can point me in the right direction

    cheers

  5. a long shot this but after accuiring a pair of these and getting them down on eggs i haven't a clue as to which rings to put on these and after going thru numerous websites i'm no further forward in finding a club or organisation apart from american ones that deal with this breed so if anyone keeps this breed that can help me with rings or info about getting them it would be greatly appreciated,i don't intend to exhibit these just want 2/3 about me but i don't like to see birds without rings unless necessary old rings would do just the same

    thanks martin

  6. Do you feel it would be an advantage that they were trapping into an aviary?

don't see why not, nice and light and also they've got the benefit of seeing other birds at ease in the aviary, the birds in the aviary could also be kept hungry therefore throwing a handfull of seed onto the aviary floor would further help to entice the race bird in

  7. i had the galvanised metal ones before i went to ets and these are the ones i would reccomend someone say's in an earlier post that their birds have turned and came back out i never had that once with these pre-assembled metal ones because they were deep,i used to find that my young birds were a bit trap shy but found out that was because it was too dark inside the loft, once i put a window in the trapping end no problems
