Don't seem to recall many birds breeding winners being given away Frank. Like that 'Goldern Pair'. But the 'Blood' lines, and different management / systems often produce good winning birds. Indeed a cock bird - never done piddlly dip - brother to a winner, wether a hen of cock often is the better breeder.
