Cheers for comments guys, Franny i had a visit from the refinery percy one day , however on a good note i got another 3 in today with my old birds so not sure what is missing now so will do a head count over the weekend. Scotty M

I had 5 on the board when i got up and another 2 came when i went to open hatch older birds out just now so fingers crossed Scotty M

Cheers for that, I normally have my race birds out around 6am every morning weather permitting, so fingers crossed for tomorrow. Scotty M

Went to get myself a coffee, looked out the window and 5 sitting their when i went over to open hatch another 2 sitting on house roof so i put the light on and got them in Scotty M

I hope you are both rite guys as i am trying hard to get a good team of racers about me with this coming into my second year, could not see percy anywhere i think they were just started to feel confident as this is the first time they have went out distance. Keep you posted. Scotty M

Well the young birds were going well and a batch of them started to range around 6.16pm then would come back flying high above the house then they went of again for a few times and the last i seen them they were up high and dots in the distance. About 8.30 3 came back individually but i reckon i still have about 20 to return, if anybody in the NW fed gets them in please post or pm me. Scotty M

Must be honest i have used SPDS for delivery of birds in Scotland and found them to be excellent, however i sometimes collect myself or get friends that are drivers to collect them for me, on the other hand i also use UK Pigeon couriers for moving them here from south of the border and again excellent service. Scotty M

Blue hen in this morning. Bird has been flying for ages by the feel of her. Scotty M

I bred the hen and the ring number is SU10NW7439 (blue bar), it is the same hen that won the race for me the previous week. Why do you ask this question??? Who are you?? This is a strange question to ask someone. Scotty M

It was my plan to send 28 but my pooler went training on Tuesday and did not re-appear until Wed morning around 9am and with regret she had half her wing feathers missing so that is her put aside until next year, the hen that i won the fed with last year from the same point as this weeks race. :cry-blow: I also got a bird returned from Aberdeen for some strange reason it decided on Saturday it wanted an extra 100 mile or so :emoticon-0179-headbang: Looks like it will be around 26/27 .
