Too many club prizes to list and the above is only some of the section and open prizes won with his sons / daughters. He bred a Section winner at 11 years old, not bad!
Picked one out 3 weeks ago, guess what - its missing from last Monday ;D ;D
My dad always said dont put your eye on them, must be right. I will pick no more.
We are basketing tomorrow as normal according to our Secretary who is on the committee.
To Tomasd, the number you rang is the NIPA number but when the office is closed it rings in Heathers house. She may not know in all honesty but no excuse for being cheeky.
Well done and keep it going. Just a thought, could the Unions (WHU, NIPA, SHU etc..) not be approached and get them to send some sort of flyer to every member clubs in their organisation letting all members know this is going on?
Happened to log on yesterday and see the Hen eating a woodcock. As for rings the RSPB will never release them because they know it will cause uproar due to the ammound they have found and the fact that racing pigeons are higher up the food chain than they are letting on. If you remember years back when the Pigeon Sport paper was in circulation rings were posted from nest sites in Ireland and there were thousands of them - some were mine and in fact i trawled through the lists that were published weekly and found 19 rings from our club. The RSPB will not let us have that information nowadays as it will not be good for their Propaganda campaign.
Guys, as these birds didnt go here i have decided to try them elsewhere. I handled them last night and to be fair to the Ybs they need to go in the next few days so i have advertised them elsewhere. Anyone still interested can pm me and i will tell them where. Thanks for all the interest shown in these and off course all the great comments posted up. SL
