Not only can they race them, but they know their birds as they won the nom for the third week in a row. Well done boys.

  10. Mathew. Since you started racing in our club, you have had loads of good honest advise. You say you started with 10 birds and was left to it. Well, who fitted your ETS system to your old bird loft. Who erected your young bird loft using their own materials. Who made a trap for your young bird loft. Who gave you free perches, and fitted them. Who fitted the new trap to your young bird loft and installed the ETS system to it. Who modified your Sputnik to improve ETS clocking. Who gave you a free basket. Who fed your birds when you were on holiday on a few occasions. I’m not looking for praise, but I feel you have painted a different picture in your post to the one that really is. Yes, I’ve snapped your head off. Would you really like me to say why.

  16. At our club clock opening yesterday, we had a brief discussion about the remaining race program. It’s been a very difficult year so far with virtually every weekend so far the race controlling team have had to act as a group to find hopefully the best chance of getting a race. It’s not been easy and whilst there haven’t been any disasters, there have been continual losses. Our club members feel that both Peterborough & Battle are races we need to complete but the two races in between need to be reassessed with alternative, probably shorter race points used. Should we be asking our Officials to consider this?

Ian Gibb 1435 Well done Alex Buchan. 2 wins on the trot. Our club members are not happy that despite instruction from the Federation that clubs should not use other club crates, when the lorry arrived this week there were FDFC marked crates already full of birds and there were no empty FDFC crates from the week before on the lorry. Some selfish club must have taken them off the lorry for their use next week. This leaves us with only 4 crates for next week when we will probably need 10. The lorry will have a long wait till we get birds transferred. Hopefully we will have some empty FDFC marked crates on the lorry. Come on fellow clubs. Play the game.
