Does the fancy name mean anything or is it all in the training. I know a lad who has a lot of good breeds of pigeon and hasnt won a race this year, But he hasnt done a lot of training. I have trained my birds nearly every day and had, 2 1st's 3rd 5th and 8th club, So is it the training that makes a good pigeon. Or the strain/breed? As the ones that have done well for me have no fancy names.

fred i have a few youngsters in the nest and a chipping egg ,im going to let them rear them then i will stop them after that.am also looking after a friends birds while hes away and have 8 youngters in the nests that will be coming to my loft when ready
