  3. SNFC GOLD AWARD WINNER,5 times top channel winner lowest position 106th open,6000 birds in those days,bred and raced by the legend jock allan of symington. ;) fantastic bird was framed and had pride of place in jocks living room.
  4. 1=02 1=03 1=04 1=05 4=06 5=07 14=08 25=09 the above birds will if there have to compete in 2010 national racing. we also have 16 latebreds which have been trained through the winter and will all have to fly 260mls. :)
  5. was checking eggs tonight and as usual my oldest stock cocks eggs were full,he is 16 years old and has never missed an egg,over the years he has bred some great doos for us including 2 snfc region winners and plenty of other crackers,what age is your oldest producer????????????

  10. lovely family,had youngsters from them and flew well into the west of scotland,classic pau winners,"maddy" "katie allys" and "amelia" 1st section pau national and 1st open woesrc elgin the previous year. :) :)great memories. :) :)

  15. stuart,had family in bath and yeovil and have had some great times on holiday with my parents and now with my own family,have spent time in all these great places and even got into bother from the wife for disappearing and ending up at arthur avis at peasedown st john,great times. :) :) :) :)
  16. scary when you think about it rab,remember good pal and campsies finest wattie robertsons astonishment about the rennes race in the late 70s with newcombe bros and jock allan with 5 birds each in front of him, wattie was was 90th open 6,500 doos at the race scottish national racing in the glory years. :) :) happy days.

  19. top bird jb,know a lot of fanciers who would not put up with this,personally i love getting them home like this,will be trained and lightly raced. ;) :)if the feathers hold up. :-/
  20. strange thing jonesybhoy we usually get a bird home feb/march and usually a hen,possibly the want of a partner or maybe hunger,i will say we have had these same birds score at the national races in future years. ;) ;)

  22. got a hen home today from lanarkshire y/b wetherby 2009,rubber perished but still there,a bit skinny,feathers bleached,but very pleased to see her sire is our no1 jock allan stock cock, the dam scored 4 times snfc, a good one to get home and she is a wee cracker. :) :)
  23. i know you are a west country boy stuart and fear bros were fantastic,i think that the newcombe bros just about shade it as the uks finest.
