i agree with the percy bit but i can assure you it was the sparrow hawk it was 30 feet above the loft we got a good look at it expletive removed* s*ke dont tell me ive got the 2 off them if thats the case im going to have to relocate both of these amazing animals hopfully next weekend.

had our hens out today again after being out for a while they lifted off the loft and flew round the loft about 100/150m up we were watching them i thought this unusual at that hieght after a minute or so we saw this thing dropping like a stone a sparrow hawk it missed again birds flew about for another 10 mins then into the loft all safe this must be nesting close by i think just up the field a bit there's whats left of a magpie.

the way she was hunting back and forth across the road outside our place today its only a matter of time before she gets hit with a car god bless her

three times the birds have been out three times hit with the hawk although sick of this the speed of this and its tackticks are amazing after it made an attack and missed it flew about 2ft off the grd up into the woods to the west then within seconds it was coming from the fn east the pigeons must have been mizmerized with this as there was no way they new which way the next attack was coming from it eventually caught a wee red hen which is now safe in the loft but the hawk spent half an hour searching high and low for its kill unfortunately we're one bird down at the last count.

great night but decided to leave a bit early as the non doo men in our company were a wee tad board change of plan for next year keep up the good work all involved.

i've been invited down i'll be staying at buckingham palace for 2-3 days before heading off to the wedding then giving carlo and his missus a lift back home where i'll be having a look through the lofts and picking up my H.T.H sale royal doo might even stay over for another night at carlo's then its a long drive home unless they put on the royal jet for me. lol

had our hens out today for a couple of hours they had settled on the roof of the loft next thing there up they must have seen it from about 60/70 yards away then right over the top of the loft a beautiful big sparrow hawk didnt go for the birds this time but just a matter of time she was just letting them know she was there.

agree with john. We're in the middle of building a new young bird loft hard work and i think we'll be calling the rainy day loft because it pi**es down every time we go near it lol all the best with your new loft.

i went to our club house on sunday where the jim cullen sale was not to buy but to look a gent that was in the company i was in bought a pigeon from the sale cracking little gay pied hen a stunner to the eye (my opinion) so i brassed my case and asked if there was any chance of a y/b off the hen turns out last night the bird was delivered to my brother and given to him for the season ps his name shall remain a secret as i dont want to ruin this guys image lol so thanks very much

he was also the stupidist looking c**t in the place stood out a mile lol

you could tell the quality of the birds at the sale just by the business of the over spill car park it was jam packed i didnt buy anything but did ask my best mate king billy (tam ritchardson)if i could have a wee gay pied off his doo that he bought so fingers crossed.
