no leave them to it mate, have the parents had a bath lately? you could dunk the parents in some warm water, so to help soften the shells, make sure the parents have regular baths when sitting. what ever you do dont chip the egg yourself or you will break the egg sack!!

would nt advise you to do this mate, if you dont do it right you will hurt and damage the birds, just use soap on 1 wing, or get them on eggs and they should settle if you do decide to cut them down, what use will they be then? will take a season to grow back

roland, understand what your saying, im not disputing the cost factor, but when you continuously get mucked about, it a joke!!! maybe the local depot??? i dont know must be somthing locally as this is the third " local" depot in as many years the first was 3 miles away, went bust the second was 18 miles away went bust!! noe the nearest is warrington which must be 25 miles to me :-/ :X

had them out today darran mate, the little grizzle buggerd off up a tree for 10 mins, then came down when a crow landed by it, sh** itself and fell in the trap!! ;D ;D, least it worked out quickly how to go in!!
