Andy, dont think thats wise, most people start yb racing this weekend, and if your only still training, i take it they are not ready to race yet? i would take them late sat, or sunday depending on weather. There will be alot of birds in the sky sat if weather is fine. just my opinion :-)

I wouldnt dare do it though! to scared lol. does seem some sense in it though, as you take them 18 miles which im hoping to do tonight, 15 mins to basket them, 25 min drive and same again back, and they beat me back and in the loft, or if i let them out tonight instead fly for hour and half no problem.?? so which is doing them the best and me? as traffic will be mad tonight :-)

has anyone ever sent to the first race without any training? i.e flying well round home so didnt bother training them? Do recall someone telling me a while back. That if there doing 3 hours around home every day and are basket trained, no need to waist petrol or time?? never fancied trying it myself :-)
