  1. IF YOU MEAN HOW DO YOU GET ONE JOHN JUST GO TO THE R.P.R.A. SITE AND YOU CAN DOWNLOAD ONE.
  2. I would just like to put some people straight on this proposed increase it is not the only proposition for a increase as some might think, the first proposition is for a increase of £3.00,the second is for £5.00 and the last one for £35.00.I dont think we have anything to worry about as if the third proposition goes through it will be the members who voted it through and i,m sure that wont happen.WILL IT.
  3. I believe this type of t3 are used in other countries where you do not have to use a thimble,i think it,s just a case of dropping the rubber into the hole so the opening is very small ,thats why you cant get a thimble in,i cant see any problem with using them as a master timer though.

    NEW ETS

The champ is also made by unikon, maybe this is slightly differant than the older one but this is the name of the system that is advertised on the new price list,it starts at £272and goes up to£449 depending on what you have with it.
  5. That should of read 12,numbers lock must of been on.
  6. You can use it on the mains or on a volt battery.
  7. Hi Paul,it is usually spelt phoenix i believe, just put phoenix lofts in the search bar and hope they have a web site,if so it should come up.
  8. paul, sounds good when you first read it send 20 birds for £6.the minimum for me would be £10,but yours all go to the fed,how do you get any prize money in the club.
  9. All our members pay a week to the fed is the birdage charge, well not to the fed actually to the club who then pays the fed when we get the bill, the club charge 50p per bird down to the coast out of this comes the fed charge for that week which could be anything around 30p depending on how many birds go that week in the fed,the rest goes as prizemoney in the club.
  10. Paul ;do you mean each memeber of your club pays £6 per week to the fed weather he races or not.
  11. Your right ther jeremy just my way of putting it,it is one actual pad with 2 sensors. :B
  12. You just get two pads, they come in two,s,any extra are £87.
  13. Carl i cant see the point in any one spending money on a new clock at the present time, even a second hand T3 would cost quite a bit and would probably want the battery changing, just the cost of that would buy a good stb clock.
  14. As a club secretary i have been speaking a lot to the ets reps, these last few weeks to find out as much as i can about the system, here are a few prices of the equipment at the moment, for a system at your loft which would give you the means to fly up to 5 races at the same time would cost £449.00 the eqipment needed for the club is given FREE,the ets rings which are extra are at the moment £1.20 each, these if you wanted could be used for your youngbirds after old bird racing is finished, obviously if you reqire extra cables at your loft or extra pads these would cost more.
  15. Going to a few sales and trade shows over the last few weeks it does seem that the sale of clocks as allready started and at stupid prices,at one time every body seemed to be after a T3,now there,s loads of them for sale, i think perhaps people are beginning to realise that ets will be here in the very near future and are perhaps offloading spare clocks which they may have,or trying to get as much for them as possible while they can.
  16. Boston D.F.C.which is in Linconshire is where the ring was registered to.
  17. Jupiter,if you are looking for a good seconhand clock i would recommend either a stb or a benzing,if you get a older one they are wind up models but the newer ones will be quartzs which need new batteries from time to time, but these are only the ordinary torch batteries which you can fit yourself, where as if you get a seconhand t2 or t3 you have to send them away to have a new battery fitted which i believe is 50-60 pound.
  18. Sean,if you go to the birds for sale thread scroll down to white racers warrens and logans, his details are there.
  19. Cracking jokes Tam,we,re on the same wavelengh.
  20. Just found the website about the race looks like it,s £150 per bird.
  21. Just wondering if there was any idea,s on cost for this, going on 1 loft races at the moment which are about £100 per pigeon for 1 year i would think they be talking say about £250 a pigeon, which i,m sure would be out of most fanciers range.
  22. Never ever heard that you shouldn,t pair any colours of the same together.
  23. Just acouple of points i would like to put to you wiley the bird deffinatly as to land on the pad or pass over it and how do you think the pigeon feels after flying for ten hours which system do you think he would have, just passing over a pad or perhaps being chaced around the loft and the rubber ripped off its leg.
  24. Hi paul,SORRY WE DIDN,T MEET UP MATE PERHAPS ANOTHER TIME,YEA THOUGHT THE SHOW WAS GOOD AS YOU SAY PLENTY OF BIRDS ETC.I GO DOWN INTO WALES QUITE A LOT TO THE SHOWS AS THERE ARE NOT MANY AROUND OUR AREA,WAS AT THE CAERPHILLY ONE ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO.
  25. Just got back from the aberdare show and was speaking to the agent for Unikon there, and i got the same answear as you tammy, the race data would not be lost from the module so any birds that were clocked when you were away or clocked the next day would be in the result,it is the person who takes off the details from the module that would delete the rate data so its up to them when the race ends. One thing that some people may not know is that the eqipment that the club needs is actually given to the club on a permanent loan free of charge, even if only one member buys the system.
