and why not breed pigeons to eat and sell along with eggs ,it will get us the same protection as the poultry farmers .

here you go our problem solve in 1go ,,,,.animals having a economic benefit,ie chickens because you eat them and sell them for food also eggs of them ,[making money from the animal POULTRY] what is stoping us SELLING PIGEON EGGS TO EAT ,AND PIGEONS FOR THE TABLE [amoungst our selves ,that is a pretty big outlet] so we should automatically be elegible the same as the chicken keepers ,,think about it

now your having a laugh ,the bloody gurgers killed our enemy [AND IT WAS NOT BOP] ;D ;DNO WONDER THE COUNTRY WAS BEHIND THEM ,this site is unberleavable i think it should be changed to BIRD OF PREY CHAT,because no one realy wants to hurt the BOP only let them keep on eating racing pigeons ,because that is what you have let happen for the last 30 or 40 years ,and will continue to do so for the next 3 to 10 years before the hobby is finished ,if i get a problem in life i sort it ,NOT GO TO THE PEOPLE THAT ARE CAUSING IT AND HOPE THEY STOP ,because you say they must ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

you would get very little responce ,people are not interested ,but if you was to change it to injured or poisond BOP , then you would see a huge response ,because the RSPB have brain washed millions of people .try it and see .

wrong ,just ask any vet with knowledge of pigeons ,

phone some one near you that has pigeons ,tell them you think you might have paramixo in your birds ,if they are willing to help they should know weather or not it is paramixo , make sure all clothes are washed before either of you get any contact with any other lofts including theirs ,and wash your foot wear in bleach water as well ,they will help you inject your birds ,but if you can aford a vet then make sure he knows about pigeons ,other wise you will be throwing money away ,just remember paramixo is highly contageous and can be carried on any thing ,and even in the air ,so the chances are if it is paramixo ,the rest of your birds will have it ,get them injected it will help most of them ,

a life times work ,i would put the price a lot higher

you dont seem brainwashed by the RSPB ,so you dont have to follow suit and by breeding more young birds ,all you are doing is helping to increase BOP numbers by supplying them with food ,why not just give them a couple they wont like the tast of and they might leave the rest alone ,ie put some salt and lard mix on a few free meals .

and it will only get worse with every passing year im afraid to say

you forgot to mention that he has a habbit of slaming the phone down during conversations with fanciers,if it is not going his way because he doesnot under stand what we whant and need.
