you may borrow my dog but you must promise to let it sleep in bed with you
  11. the eurasian eagle owl "european" is different from the bengal "indian"eagle owl , not even the RSPB tossers can make that mistake , or is it as i suspect "bullshit", to jusitfy the removal of a species as non native, to justify their own agenda
  12. there does not seem to be much anger that peregrines have been killed in here , you all seem rather glad about it
  13. they know what sea eagles eat chickadee, but raptors are "in vogue", they also know that america had trouble with their eagle owls killing peregrines when re-introduction was first attempted and thats what they dont want to see here , for the RSPB to admitt peregrines are numerous would cost them millions of pounds in lost appeals , they have learnt from the peregrine appeal fund just how to "pluck" at the public heart strings and get people to stump up more money for their projects , eg, white tailed sea eagle (norfolk) hen harrier , marsh harrier , where ever they can make a few quid , i bet the public does not know just how big a "landowner" the RSPB is ?, bigger than the church of england :Dand now bigger than any other organisation .
  14. so they are saying if it colonises naturally it can stay , like the red kite , the sea eagle (and proposed re-introduction into norfolk) and other species that they favour , just shows what a bunch of hypocrits they are

    P.O.B.!

thats the way to do it , plan your attack
  16. i appologise for that comment as it has cuased offence to you and i also appologise to jargre , i should have explained a little better and been more tolerant with the point i was making .
  17. correct bob , if jargre could read properly he would know i was not poping at the other fancier who's ar$e he tried to lick , he should read and digest what was said instead of trying to jump in
  18. go away and find a brain you halfwitt
  19. so they start earlier , 05.00 give or take a couple of minutes ;D, seriously as daft as STB's reply seems , that is the only positive way you have is to stop racing for a time , mr peregrine cannot live on wading birds in the summer because they have not arrived yet , those peregrines that have been artificialy introduced into towns and onto church spires would find it very hard without your racing pigeons , STB , your bang on mate , trouble is , getting everybody to share your logic
  20. your in a dream world , do you know ANYTHING about the peregrines feeding habits ?how do you avoid the times when they are feeding young ?at this time of year it is from 06.00 to about 20.00 hours ,..........or do you have a strain of nocturnal pigeons ?
  21. now that is a very positive way of thinking , and i seriously mean that , because mr peregrine will turn into a canibal ;D and when you all finnish moaning about your losses that is what you will have to do , not flying racers for two years would seriously damage the wild peregrine populations and create a stir that would be investigated and then you would be heard
  22. and as for rings being your property forget it !, when young falcons are ringed , any racing pigeon rings are smashed to avoid any potential conflict , and if your found at a peregrine nest site recovering racing rings , you will be prosecuted for interfering with a protected bird ,.........dream on ! its all against you
  23. i live in burnley lancashire and i can confidently say that pigeon racing has been relegated to the history books around here , we have at least seven pairs in a six mile radius :Di am thinking of having trips on saturdays with paying customers to watch the peregrines strike returning race birds , it is so regular and i can confidently place people to watch the proceedings 8) but who is going to make a stand ?, if anything is placed openly on here it is removed for fear of the RSPB , so keep feeding those nice birds boys and keep living in fear of the birdie boys ;D ;D ;D ;D

    wiped out

oh good , you keep whinging about peregrines but do nothing but feed them ,..............breed em some more
  25. OLD YELLOW , as daft as that sounds it is a G R E A T idea , two years would seriously damage the peregrine population and the stupid rspb would have an enquirey over it ,....................... that is just the sort of action that is needed
