  9. Agreed..... Soon see how happy they are if they dont get the birdage required to make winner eligble for Blackpool. I respect the effort people put into making show run good but all thats being said is the let down in racing classes. 12 show classes to 6 is just not right. But I hope they change it for the better next year. Telling people not to come will make it a doomed show
  10. As Merrysilver says it is headlined EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL CHARITY RACING PIGEON SHOW
  11. Yeah agree Gary. Its back on so we'll support it but people's voices need to be heard and after all its a Racing Pigeon show but poor classes. The show racer birds have took over. It should have had at least 400/500 mile pigeons to cater for the national men as we all know it takes an entirely different type bird to fly 500 mile+ than just 200mile. They should have catered for this then it would have been perfect. I dont have any flown 500 mile birds so makes no diffrence to me but I think they have just let it down by not offering the class
  12. Yeah well they have 4 TW classes for the show Racers... I'd have it same as racing birds and any age TW and the 2 classes left could have went to 400/500 mile flown? Also has to be a first time they have no eyesign class too
  13. Yes Eamon its not exactly going to draw in the Racing man to travel for it. Its Dissapointing
  14. I cant agree more George.... Its a RACING pigeon show with 6 racing classes :-/ :-/ The men behind the show obvisouly catering for the show man before the racing man eh!!!!

    Finsbury!!!

Just to anyone that bet it when I gave it a few weeks ago I hope you got money back with Each way today. 4th 20-1 so 5-1 a place. Got money back and a bit profit. Thank god
  22. Would have learned a lot mate. A lot of guts too. I always like them to try find home when they are healthy enough to do so. Means its a trier and not dropped into first loft it see's. Of course there are circumstances when it is unable to make it and appreciate when a fancier gets it back to owner when possible
  23. Yeah Eamon think Marshall has won 3 or 4 out the 6 young bird races. We won the 1st then a couple 2nds. Only race 20 young birds at most so not the worst performance but the last 2 races were very bad races for us with heavy losses. lost 10 in the last two races
  24. old birds 8/10 for performance.(Won old bird cup Rosewell) Young birds 2/10. Worst young bird season in many years. One more race to come and then onto the showing for me
  25. I believe its something in the air at moment.... Midlothian had there race today(Sunday 30th Aug) and we've had another pretty bad race. We cant blame clashing as we'd pretty much be only fed racing. Weather was ok. Wolud not help being only fed racing as we'd get hit with a lot of BOP.... But still I think there are just problems at the moment. Very weird I think. We were at Ripon
