  4. lost a yearling today looks like a sparrowhawk the feathers plucked and the carcass remains i never seen it return as i was waiting for it so no doubt it will be back some day just pis**d off cant even let your birds out :'(
  5. the other vice president (pender)
  6. looks like the snfc delegate was not allowed to speak on the matter at the delegates meeting last night as it was not on the agenda which was quite right maybe a letter should be sent and it could be discussed at the next meeting or is it to late i have total confidence in the officials to keep the fed right and not push through anything the members don't want but we must talk about this proposal from the snfc
  7. we were still going to maidstone which was going along with the agm but nowhere in the agm did it say you cannot share a transporter ;D
  8. i have already said that is the end of it for me the place to bring it up is next years agm just thought maybe the delgates would have been told to take the proposal back to there club members for discussion but if the snfc failed to contact lanarkshire to ask if they were intrested in sharing a race point looks bad on the snfc management
  9. i will not be able to go as there is something important happening in edinburgh that day ;D
  10. hi gutty vince is not the daddy the previous fed president thought he was the daddy look what happened to him ;D
  11. thanks will do :-/
  12. dont understand was there no vote taken alf
  13. my club delgate never asked me how he should vote and the club never called a meeting so i will point this out at the club agm
  14. the delgates made their choice in my opinion the wrong choice but there will always be next year lanarkshire will liberate approx 1200 birds from maidstone the day nearly all other feds will be going together i can take it on the chin though and i wont run away like some other people do when they lose a vote ;D
  15. thanks bruno for your reply
  16. would have been helpful alf maybe the moderator is not as talented as the webmaster who normally tells where the posts have been moved to your opinion as a paying member of the fed is valued but you have not changed my mind yet with your answer to my questions ;D
  17. good to see our posts were not removed just added somewhere else
  18. thanks for your answer tammy but you are right i have not changed my mind due to your answers you have an opinion which i respect all the best
  19. not saying your results jimmy were in doubt just iam sure pigeon racing has changed over the last 20 years it is getting harder to produce results like yours
  20. Burnbank Homing Society Maidstone - 2006-06-24 3 members sent 30 birds. Liberated at 08:00:00 in light var. Pos. Name Club Dist. AFT Velocity 1 Jim Hannah - - 10:35:09 1010.360 2 Jim Hannah - - 10:45:18 994.460 3 Jimmy Mcmillan - - 11:06:14 965.650 4 Jim Hannah - - 12:03:55 886.470 no1 would the thirty birds get on better in a bigger convoy? no2 would they get on better with a better transporter? no3 would they get on better with conveyors more experienced at looking after birds from distance races? no4 would it be cost effective for the members to share transport cost? no5 would the thirty birds be worse off getting dragged up the east coast than they were last year so tammy, sammy alf lets here your points you all sound like you want to stay with lanarkshire on its own change my mind for me and give me your good points on staying on your own :K)
  21. dont mean to upset your good record but when was this record what year?
  22. dont know how many iam sending i have 21 yearlings after moving my loft location last year i have no other birds to race bar 12 late breds do you know how many your sending to a race in june because i dont but if i have the birds left to go to maidstone if any to go i sure will duplicate into the national if the fed members allow it and i will have to rejoin the snfc first
  23. Note: I THINK RETURNS WISE THIS HAD TO BE LANARKSHIRES BIGGEST DISASTER OF THE YEAR,MANY CLUBS HAD MEMBERS WHO ARE STILL WAITING FOR A PIGEON AND NONE SEEM TO BE TURNING UP.THIS IS THE POOREST SEASON I HAVE KNOWN FOR THE AMMOUNT OF BIRDS THAT HAVE GONE MISSING THERE IS SOMETHING FAR WRONG BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALL BEEN GOOD ENOUGH LIBERATIONS AND NOBODY SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO OFFER A SUITABLE EXPLANATION. this not your comment from last year tammy? ;D

  25. last year the newbury national race there was 25 birds timed in the west from the first 60 birds maybe the west wind has more to do with the east doing so well in the national
