i checked the weather reprt at 02.00 this morning the birds would have to go early to beat the rain looks like the rain front moved quicker than thought but still no matter what you say birds were timed into south in six hours and into edinburgh on the 7 hr mark and we have the leading birds into the west on 8 hrs with the lanarkshire fed iam sorry lots of good birds are missing but hindsight is a wonderful thing

i can understand some people are angry they have had a bad race but going by the snfc lib line looks like the leading birds made it up the road then the weather closed in blocking out the rest of the birds hope they make it back if they are up in the borders im sure a few breaks in the weather will see a few more birds back tomorrow
