  1. Don't worry about costs the vote the other day confirmed that they want to go alone and not duplicate into the snfc so near on every race over 220 mile will run at a loss as for going across the water with lucky 300 birds @ £5 per bird gives you £1500 that should cover the transport as for prize money the winner will get a pokey hat
  2. The met office is contactable 24 hours a day for the most detailed of weather forecast at a fee of course. They will talk you through the weather during the early hours and predict what might happen. Even better if he was sent up to Aberdeen to learn a bit about weather on a met office course made contacts within the met office officials so they can understand what we pigeon men are looking for we are asking a dooman to look up the internet that may not have the correct information
  3. am scared to ask..... but what does Guinness do?

  9. Maybe the guy who convoys the birds should be there even if we need to pay him to come. He knows more than anyone the good sites and poor places
  10. He done very well. just maybe next year the committee could have a race programme both east and west just as a base to go from then it would stop the clowns shouting out race points they don't even have a clue where it is never mind if it is suitable for two hgv's

  15. Gareth if the other feds stay over in the east lanarkshire will lose a fortune in transport costs the birdage might cover the drivers wages though as for amal's everyone is for them but no one will do the work pie in the sky
  16. the cattle market i believe is on the top left of the picture as you can see the pylon's run right in front of the lib site when i used to work there was a bt telegraph pole just in front on the water that could also hinder the birds
