  1. Old enough to have a history and young enough to still be winning today. Super pigeons that won't let you down.
  2. Just wondering if any members are travelling to the Belfast show this weekend.
  3. Nice one Roland,
  4. Anyone with a few bevvies will have no problem ;D ;D ;D
  5. The only fact there is Don is that there are some sick minded & cruel people in this world. Pity the same justice wasn't available to punish them in return.
  6. Its as simple to put the race rubber on the other leg, solves any problems taking it off.
  7. ;D ;D ;D ;D

    BELFAST SHOW

    Its on Saturday 12th
  10. I know of a few fanciers locally that had the same happen to them.
  11. Behave Roland, and just keep those jokes coming.
  12. RIP John & condolences to his family circle.
  13. Not You ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  14. Good Luck to you both Richard & Gemma, and congratulations to Fifer & Vallance wishing you both continued success with this great site.
  15. nipa are the same as rpra
  16. I always manage to get a mate to look after them
  17. Bob told me at the sale in Blackpool that they (his birds) needed a cross that all his birds were too inbred. I have paired the dark cock to different hens and still got good results from all the birds I bred from him.
  18. They are Ko Nipius/Aarden based. I purchased a few at his sale in Blackpool a few years back and they have bred me birds to fly out to Penzance. One of the cocks I purchased breeds lovely dark cheqs with feathered legs and his ybs are breeding the same. Reminds me of the old Gits pigeons.
  19. A reply like that coming from someone as successful as yourself Gareth goes to show what a great sport we have and with that attitude from one of our top fliers long may it last.
  20. Absolutely agree owen 100%
  21. If you take any underhand measures to win any race the only person you are fooling is yourself and you shouldn't be in this sport/hobby.
  22. Win at any cost obviously results in a monetary gain if your that desperate to take underhand measures. Returning back to my post, money is taking the good out this great sport.
  23. Price does not come into it. I enjoy racing my birds and if I manage to get on the result sheet its a bonus. Money is taking the good out of this great hobby. Believe me I have spent a small fortune on the birds I have and I have parted with them without any return to new starters no matter what they cost me. Hijacking the advert on the telly, Price of a new loft £250+, Price of a clock £250, price of a pigeon £40+, Price of baskets, training etc £150+. Watching a pigeon hitting the landing board after a race from any distance Priceless.
  24. Theres a 2 year waiting list from Nigel Cowell.
  25. Doing all the usual end of season secretarial work and organising our presentation night.
