There was an article in the BHW a few years back regarding the use of condys crystals being discussed with a couple of old vets and one of them stated it would be the first thing in his drinker when the birds returned from a race. That is were I got the mixture from and have used it every season since and it has certainly never done my birds any harm.

I think it was 1/2 t/spoon mixed to a litre and the from that mix 1/2 cupful to drinker and top up with with the water.

Agree 100% Fred thats what the sport is all about, dedication & hardwork. You're right about the Braniff's super fliers they seem unstopable.

Fred, the man in question, his results are absolutely super, I think he won nearly every race in the foyle club this year as well as topping the Derry fed on each occasion. He is totally dedicated and hard working so is now reaping the benefits. The Foyle club is not disbanding and will continue as normal as can be this season 2010.

Why don't you phone the present secretary and ask him :-/

Totally agree Geraint, the staff have a hard enough job to do without having to be abused by mindless idiots that don't do our great sport any justice.

If you contact J. Miller 07899895100 I'm sure he will be able to help you out. Pigeon82 (Phil) on here is originally from Cornwall and his dad (K. Masters) still flies the birds there. Phil now lives here in the N/West of Ireland (Derry City) and I know that some of the family have been over visiting a few times maybe another way to get them across. Hope this helps.
