A member on here (shallis lofts) flys them very sucessfully into Cornwall. I'm meeting up with him at Blackpool next week.

Thanks for the link Lindsay, usually with the double issue for the Blackpool weekend delivery can be slow getting to the newsagents over here. At least now we'll be able to see whats on offer

I have to say that I have stood down from being secretary of my local club after almost 10 years and have to say that most members appreciate the work that is done around the club and the role of the secretary. The problem I found was the older club men, its "MY Club" brigade who sit in the a**e and ridicule everything you try to do for the better of the club, but try invite them on board and they don't want to know. The ordinary fancier in the club also follows suit to avoid any ridicule from the clic and sits or stands quietly in the background just wanting to race their birds without the hassle jmo.

If possible I would look to a local fancier that is doing well at the distance flying into your locality and see if you could purchase a few.

Just looked in on elimar myself tonight dava and have to say I thought your hen was a cracker, we would all love to have a loft full of birds like her. Good luck with her dava in 2012 whether she is breeding or racing a quality hen.
