  1. SStaffie she golden might lick u to death but great with kids and birds loves our cat but chases anything else out of garden
  2. 06 was a fantastic cock for us who won us our clubs inland averages on his own flying against 300-400 birds in 2006 being clocked in every inland race he was a 2004 pigeon as a yb he won then as a yearling he was rubbish till the last race were he won the club by 10 mins then in 2006 he was magnificant is all i can say about him winning 3x 1st 3 x 2nds 1x 3rd 2x 4th then 2007 fled well again winning a few races and flying well then 2008 he won a few races again i bought a stock loft to put around my house to keep him in after 2008 season, he went to the last race of 2008 and after they were libbed the weather changed and the birds had a disaster he was the only bird who never came for us and hasnt been seen since the loss was so great that it was like losing a part of the family it made me sick as a dog i sometimes think he may return if someone has him in he only ever bred 2 cocks when breeding 1 his 1st every young bird and a latebreed 2007 and both won races but not as good as there dad, but they both in the stock loft and the latebreed 2007 cock is a absoloute gem of a breeder he has breed our good cock in race loft now and bred a yb that won us £600 this year in the breeder buyer race and both his yb won this year
  3. had 6 in 2008 van reets pants at racing but 2 hens have bred winners
  4. hi mate just keep in a box with food and water and it will soon build it strength up small seeds are ideal if it is low if you have any or can get hold of some, if bird is low dont feed it large wheat like beans as it may cause more damage than help it will also eat rice if that is all you have (put rice in blender before giveing bird).

  8. van reet cock same as last year 3 wins and 2 2nds in 6 races and his 1st yb we breed from him has won to and scored well on fed and to make it better the sire of the top bird has throw the winner of b/b to win us £600 top quality line of pigeons we had for a few years
  9. if after 2 season with the same partner nothing of any worth they either get kulled or shipped out, or if i think they have something special i will try them with another partner, i do feel that stock birds that dont produce are better sent for others to try as we had a hen who was brilliant racer but never breed a decent pigeon so we decided to borrow her out when she was 6 save killing her and my mate bred winner every year for 3 years till we had her back and she bred nothing again, it just that some pigeons dont suit methods doesnt mean they wont suit others,
  10. a friend of mine bought a bird from a sale at blackpool from a sale on the friday night, belgium fancier i believe the pigeon was a blue 5 year old cock, that was breed down from this and that, had breed winners every year, was a photo of the pigeon in fancy press sale list, when he got the pigeon home was paired to a hen, but would not pair, eventually giveing up my mate decided to throw bird in spare section with some old retired racers who dont breed no more, low and behold the pigeon catched pair to 1 of the old cocks and has gone down but to late,it was a hen and when i seen it i believe it may be a young hen too, my mate has got intouch with the sellers agent and she said he was out of the country in china, and he would get intouch as soon as he would get back he did not get intouch , so my mate has sent a letter saying if no correspondence by a certain time he will put it all in the fancy press
