A racing pigeon called "Invincible Spirit" was bought by Louella Pigeon World in 1992 for $132,000. Another pigeon reportedly broke that record by selling for $225,000. Usually when pigeons are bought for such high prices they are not raced but they are put in high security, top care lofts and used for breeding. Is this still the record for selling pigeons ??
