  4. central belt you will be lucky to get 1-3 members in most clubs sending over the water, some clubs may have a lot IE : remember your club is the biggest in our Fed Iain, thats great people what to fly it, but your missing my point:: people are not flying it,???? why the?, tell us and maybe we can talk people into it or be abile to do something about it, thats what this post is about...
  5. Yea thats why I sent 5 last year and if i had them, I would send this year again, and im 39 and the youngest in my club so even the older guys wont send over the water, and its the same storey in most clubs, its mabe different down were you are but up here in the central belt you will be lucky to get 1-3 members in most clubs sending over the water, some clubs may have a lot , but not in my area and iv heard all the storys about days gone by thats all people kept birds just for rennes, but racing has changed even since i started, people cant bild a team of birds for the channel these days down to bop or bad inland racing or something else its only going to be a team of people who will and can do this, i cant even talk most club member to complete young bird racing
  6. I went to the gold cup for the first time last year with 5 birds, got one back didint enjoy the race, and never sent any to the inlands or any other nats last year, this year ill only be sending to the other nats and giving the gold cup a miss because I dont have the birds to send, I was the only one in my club to send to this race and out of 12 member you would be lucky to get 2-3 going as far as the inland nat! distance men are a minority now im not nocking it but most people dont and wont send there birds to 500+ most stuggle past 300mils

  18. Some people who dont carry a lot of distance birds like the inland nationals, where the birdage is high. if feds joined to form a proper Amal in central scotland yea it would be worth keeping inland racing to feds and Amals, but inland nationals are more popular, due to demand or the birdage would not be 4000+
