The boness breeder buyer is now cancelled due to the on going corona virus. The club has decided to hold a gold ring competition with similar rules to the previous years competitions for performances judged over the season. More information will be provided over the weekend

Bo’ness Homing Society intend to hold their annual Breeder Buyer competition on Wednesday 22nd April. Club opens 6pm sale starts 7pm This years prize money will be 50% of the purse. The winner is judged by results flown from an individual pigeon over the course of the season. Bo’ness Homing society has paid out £1000 to the breeder and buyer the last 3 seasons. We hope to be able to match and even surpass that again this year. Anyone interested in entering a bird please get in touch 07413405163 Last years winner was Freddy Robertson of Danderhall flying his own hen. Lucky bugger. As much support as possible is needed to ensure, he doesn’t repeat the feat!

The winner of the 2019 Bo'ness Breeder Buyer is Freddy Robertson of Danderhall, winning the combined total of £1000 by racing his own youngster. There were 6 entries submitted to myself. with the winner being judged by an independent fancier. the winning pigeon achieved 19th club 332 birds 34th fed 694 birds 218miles 1103ypm 16th club 213 birds 95th open SNFC 286 miles 1548 birds 1392ypm Thanks to everyone who donated youngsters and to those who attended the sale on the day. Bo’ness homing society will be training from Dunbar tomorrow. Leaving Boness Aprrox 12pm. Will be leaving from the plot on harbour road and collecting at the club house.
