Two year ago I liberated 35 youngens on their first training toss,all well and healthy birds flying one hour + ,twice a day.They were hit by two peregrines within seconds of liberating,I ended up with 13 youngens that were able to race,two reported which both died later. You could breed half the team you usually do,therefore more room in the loft,less stress on the birds and yourself ,less illness and less food bill. Lindsay
