Waited for the weather today and it's finally bloody come out the sun,wind changed from East to North and dropped to a light breeze.Took them about ten mile just to get them back to thinking about racing instead of being on holiday,all in the loft when I got home. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Had old birds out exercising then saw them take off to the heavens and join another flock,don't get many birds up here in the village,after a while they dropped down to a reasonable height and most of the other flock broke away,at least five tried to trap with mine two of which were clearly hawk damaged,wing flights and tail flights missing and one covered in blood.They put mine on edge so got mine in ASAP and cleared the others off they headed towards Maryport. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: Good luck mate whoever you are,let's hope that's all the damage that was done and they get home safe.

I've been using breed and wean,wasn't too keen on it when I first opened the bag,added a few beans but have bred what I think are some well reared young birds,also got Homoform. 25Kg bags. PS I've tried all sorts of guaranteed crap to seal where the sides fit the front and came up with roof and gutter sealer 100% good so far. Lindsay.

Hi Buster,this is what you are looking for mate.It's what's used to finish off an industrial roof,usually the box profile type,50mm X 150 mm overlap and lengths cut to requirement,silicone sealer used to stop water getting in where shiplap joins.This is my OB race loft,painted with red masonry paint.
