  5. Had a quick count of my birds today a little too many because of lack of racing opportunities due to my son who is currently in hospital in ICU. I have old and young birds that need rehoming. good honest racing pigeons that can be traced. Ideal for someone coming back into the sport. mostly mid/long distance. Own carriage must be arranged from Stockport. Any takers please contact me by the messenger service on Pigeon Basics for more details about my birds linage etc. Best Regards Stuart Plant

  8. Hi guys turns out the owner of the above ring number doesn't keep pigeons anymore, but some one has raced this bird without transfer of the ring, no wing stamp or lambourn tel ring either anyone have a clue who it may belong too, it might be in the north west region of England, as the bird is in Stockport, with my young birds.

  17. My Putmans are mostly blue chequers, medium to large builds. Got one on the sheet from Messac, the birds can do well from short but are better built up with protein's for longer races, they are determined homers and will get home with all sorts of injuries however. They are apple bodied. with yellow eyes and are good to handle. that is about all rearly I can tell you. I have a small family of them. that I race from time to time.
  18. I have Putmans in Stockport not many like as they are difficult to acquire this old strain. regards to their performances the are reliable homers with sensible training.
  19. I don't have the name of it anymore the wife gone and thrown it out when cleaning the car out unfortunately. But it was purely a wide variety of dried powdered herbs basically, if it come back to me I will let you know.
  20. Try him on a herb based recovery. works wonders. There was a bird in a field of wheat last year the wheat was tall and a retriever dog came out of the field and laid the bird down at the owners feet, this guy took him to a local fancier outside Bath spa, the fancier used a herbal product he told me. the bird was basically doomed however the herbs brought him back from the brink. I was doing a spot of pigeon transportation last year and reunited the bird with its owner. Lucky that one.
  21. Cheer For that Andy Will send Terry an email. With the ring number of the Blue bird Best Regards Planty
