That's why I'm thinking of only sending a couple Walter..last week I had 7 birds to come out of 24 at 3.30 (was gutted ap at club coz that wiz third ae my team wen a came bak fae club had another 4 bak then 1 at 6 last one at 7:23 that nite..well chuffed last wk coz oot ae the seven to cum 5 were latebreads n only 1 I lost was 1 I bought in but don't think I'll b that lucky 2weeks in a row IMO Anyway thanks 4the advice and great result topping west sec last week with what looks like a cracking hen and one I will look out for in future nationals..aw the best ae luck way her m8

Alright guys what do yous think of the chances of a race on Sunday ..my problem is this is my fist ob season I have 18 yearlings and 5 l/breads they've had all 3 races this season,I was planning to send them all this week then pair them on after race as I've been on roundabout so far now I'm thinking of only sending a couple of birds as I want them paired in plenty time fo the yearling derby..any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

Does anyone have a phone number or contact address for lumsden & colligan..I bought a latebred at the fed sale last year and there was no contact details and the phone number I got from the shu is just going straight to ans machine,would appreciate it if u could pm me.

Cheers guys I lost a about 15 young birds due to inexperience( letting them out in bad weather too windy when the birds were too young,some off the top of the loft and maybe couple to the hawks..who knows)so to go to the training with 25 birds and only lose one on what I thought was terrific training,birds coming from everywhere great experience for them and me was like a raceday sometimes once again well done to all involved not forgetting big Colin ,would also like to thank w.semple for setting up my ets which again I think is a great system,can't wait till Saturday now..aw the best guys,kenny

Would like to start by saying I'm a new starter and will be racing young birds from blantyre club this season,my name is kenny mcmahon and would like to thank the blantyre club for accepting my application,would especially like to thank my dad Allan nelson for getting me interested in the sport and the gift of birds,tips and all the other help he's given me,would also like to thank George lightbody,Alfie McGee,davie peffers and John mann and James green for their kind gift of birds,would also Francy McDonough as he is down giving me a hand daily and all the help he has given me..had great training with the Lanarkshire fed(only losing one bird)so well done to all those involved..well that's all I've got to say for now except to to congratulate all the men who won their old bird races and wish everyone has a good young bird season without to many losses eh,kenny mcmahon
