I'm really disappointed with the national,the reason I joined this year was to fly in the shortest channel race(Ypres)as I'm still trying to find my feet in distance races and don't want to jump in at 500mls +would love to time on the shift from this channel race so thank you to the fed on which personally for me I think was a great decision on the very little time scale they had to make a desicion ..hoping for a timer now..good luck to all who have sent tonight both fed and national

Out of interest guys does your bird have to be in the first 100 open or section across the water to receive these awards?

Would like to think so m8 only need to look what happened last year when the national went to Maidstone &Lanarkshire went to bedhampton..Lanarkshire had a nightmare of a race

They'll have to come up with something quick as Lanarkshire fed is having their emergency meeting tonight and will probably come up something for this week which will in turn affect the birdage,the reason I joint the national this year is I'm a novice in this sport(2nd ob season)and would have liked to have had a go with the national from Ypres but that's now looking very unlikely

If its only posponed how long for,I've a cock who will be sitting overdue,no chance of getting him back down if its a week or so,was looking forward to this race,get your act together snfc absolute joke,and what about more experienced fanciers who know better than me what nesting conditions their birds fly too :emoticon-0179-headbang:

What happens to the birdage? If were not going across the water surely it won't be the same,and how are birds being transported to ancensis if tls is the case???
