i think the above is spot on if thay have not had the grit thay will gorge themselves on it, ive had birds that did not eat for 2 days when new to the loft just need time to settle in.

thay are standard 8x6 sheds just joined together one has the avery between, my widowhood loft is a 16ft 2 sheds joined, it is not in the pic.

my garden shed lofts, vents are in the floors of all lofts and at the top back.

the best vents are in the floor of the loft as this will be cool air and escape at the top of the loft
