we used to give our west roller and tumbler mix to get body on them for a show but as we dont have wests we now use a mixture of roller and tumbler plus some breed and wean as you say geordie as long as htey are kept healthy they should gain weight no probs

what sort of tipplers competition/flying tipplers, exhibition tipplers or show tipplers

I Have shown at this show in the past and its a good show

I would remove him from the loft as all he will do is cause chaos

Why dont you get yourself to Otley show on saturday 22nd may as there will be some show racer fanciers there who will be willing to help you if you wants just pm me i will send you them

Not been funny but people who put names and addresses of fanciers on forums need to think twice as it is a gate way to thieves nowt wrong with putting telephone number too many people in the uk been robbed these days

If you say they are for breeding why are you wanting to fly them out?? why dont you fly the youngsters out plus all this pulling the flights is not a good option and very cruel there have been good comments from members i have heard about soap and rubber bands as well and is supposed to work, but the shaving bit that would be good to see a vid

If you are on about the capuchines they come in lots of colours

Yeah your right you can show Garden fantails they will go in a A.O.V (Any Other Variety) Class but they have to be NPA rung

dont keep racers but have Modenas, silseans and saxon spot fairy swallows, exhbition tipplers wests

I know of a few fanciers up that way with modenas as I keep them myself but I think at this time of year you will be struggling to get hold of some as many will have already got rid of surplus stock and will be breeding soon are you wanting to show the modenas

Hi there its a shame you missed the pigeons at yorkshire show as neil said there will be a show in october at the yorkshire showground its the countryside live plus there are other shows around yorkshire that you could visit

Alot of shows do have classes for the flying rollers

Pair them back up and see how they go

Sorry but i would not give my birds to a dealer if they are no good for me then they are no good for anyone else its these people that give us in the fancy a bad name by selling other peoples rubbish what they dont want. I have seena lot of threads with photos of so called fancy pigeons crap birds what I wouldnt give a tuppence for if someone wants a good start there are genuine fanciers out there that will help start a new and upcoming fancier into pigeon showing, the most I have paid for a fancy pigeon that was from a top breeder was 10 pounds and this bird had done well at champ level too and have had lots given all of show quality. I feel if a new fancier is coming into our sport you have to keep them interested not by giving them rubbish but by giving them a good start. We have recently started a young girl up with a pair of quality wests we gave her them as well, these birds will do very well as they have been shown previously at top level too. alot of you may disagree with my post but we are all entitled to an opinion
