Thanks Frank, trying a couple or three beers to calm the nerves!

First race for 15 years. Have sent 13 to marlborough with the herefordshire fed. 63 miles to me. Cant see me getting much sleep! Would be chuffed to get em back, hopefuly not miles behind!

Well thats it, all training done ready for my first race on sat from 60 miles. Thanks for some good advise, they have been beating me back from 32 miles. Will be happy to get good returns sat but will also be dreaming of a good un!

Thanks for advise, I fed them less this morning and took them 20 miles tonight. 6 beat me back and the others all came within 10 minutes. Very pleased

I will do, was unsure if I needed to wait until they got it right from there. How far should I jump them?

Well they have just done it again, 55 mins from 10 miles!

They go either before morning or evening feed and trap well enough when they eventualy come home! Should I cut their food back to less each day?

Ok will try letting them out first, thanks. First season so got no old uns to show them ropes.

Advise please! I have had mine 6 times to about 10 miles but I cant get them to come quick! So far they have taken 1hr 32, 50 mins, 35 mins, 1hr 14, 1hr 19, 1hr 24. Should I send them further, bring them back shorter or stay at 10 until they get it right?

Another one waiting on the loft for me! Two in a day from a ten mile toss a week ago! There's hope yet

Thanks, the last two I had were bouncing around the loft as if they hadn't been anywhere, but that was 5 hours ish ago.

It's absolutely chucking it down here now. Have had to retire indoors and drink more beer. Will keep checking until dark. Alarm set for 5.30am and back up the garden with a sore head I shall go. Have to say am so gutted, first season back. Anyone got some positive stories about ybs working back in sh** weather after a night out please!
