thanks for all the replies , I didn't send her Sapper .Wiley her family fly well for me (rare if any aren't in the mix) she is fairly mature ,not paired or showing yet. Tony C ,I would say the "pink" is pronounced ,and Wattie ,it may be due to the fact she flew 2 days ago in the rain , although non of the others seem to have this .
having looked at the youngsters for basketing tonight ,I have a hen with "pink wattles" .all others are glowing white ,should I keep her home or ? ,,,,, un-less an "old hand" tells me she,s in form ,that's my thinking ?
I did wonder if the weather had played a part ? do you think the rainstorms have motivated them to reach home or because of rain-fall on dry ground they've had better access to water ?
