THEY CAN ONLY SEND MAX 50 BIRDS TO A RACE NOW .MOST MEMBERS WANTED IT AND THEY GOT IT,END OF STORY.A LOT OF HAPPY MEMBERS AND A FEW UNHAPPY MOB FLYERS.NO WAY ROUND IT NOW.

alan i agree some people will be annoyed not being able to send all their birds but there could be a silver lining in that the big team flyers will now send more to the channel,lets see how it goes and wish the new fed commitee good luck for 2010. glad to hear the ets rings are not going up,ill still be getting another 60 off you later in the year.have a good season yourself.

The 50 bird limit was voted in by the men in the hall,it was on the agenda so anybody with concerns should have been at the meeting,it was a very good turn out and most left the hall very happy. alan sending a third lorry will cost us loads of extra money and it would go less than half full,on a good race we get arround 11000 to 12000 birds so no need now to send a third truck thus saying money for the fed,just a thought we will be using less ets rings now so saving allround id say.

LADS THE AGM IS OVER WE MOVE ON,I WISH THE NEW FED LEADERS A GREAT 2010 SEASON.IT WAS THE BEST ATTENDED AGM IN YEARS.AS FOR THE BIRD LIMIT IMO 50 BIRDS IS PLENTY.IT WILL COST YOU LESS ON FEED AND LESS TIME CLEANING THEM OUT.THE INFC BROUGHT A 20 BIRD LIMIT IN LAST YEAR AND THAT AFFECTED A LOT OF PEOPLE.I STILL THINK THE TOP FLYERS WILL STILL WIN WHETHER THEY SEND 20 OR 100 BIRDS,WHAT THIS LIMIT WILL DO IS STOP THE MOB FLYERS CHUCKING EVERYTHING IN EACH WEEK HOPEING TO GET A DECENT ONE IN THE CLOCK..AS WAS SAID EARLIER THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS EVERYBODY WILL GET THEIR BIRDS ON THE NEW TRANSPORTERS THAT WE ALL PAID FOR.

frank the lad asked for advice and many including yourself have givin it to him,birds to fat heavy and cold weather,cut them back split them and put the lights on . job done

split your birds up again and put them on 50% barley and if they start leaving the barley cut back on the food, maybe they are to fat and the cold dont help either.pair them back together in arround 3 weeks.have you lights in your loft if so extend the day by atleast 4 hours and that should also help.

still havent got mine so if it turns up now its going back ,i like to plan for blackpool now ill just have to wing it lol

FOR THE VAST AMOUNT OF FANCIERS 50 BIRDS IS DOUBLE WHAT THEY WOULD SEND (OLDBIRDS) TO RACES.SOME GUYS SEND OVER 100 BIRDS A WEEK 4 TIMES THE AVERAGE FANCIER.LET IT GO TO THE AGM AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.I HAVE A FEELING IT WONT COME IN JMO

ILL HAVE ARROUND 40 OLD BIRDS AND RACE 50 YOUNGBIRDS SPIT INTO 2 TEAMS BUT ALL GOING ON THE DARKNESS THIS YEAR.I THINK ITS A GOOD IDEA TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF BIRDS A FANCIER CAN SEND.THE TRANSPORTER ONLY HOLDS A CERTAIN AMOUNT THEN THE OTHER BIRDS HAVE TO GO ON A FLAT BACK TRUCK,WHY SHOULD SOME FANCIERS THAT SEND 100 BIRDS GET ALL THEIRS ON THE TRANSPORTER AND SOME GUYS SENDING 20 OR SO HAVE TO GO ON A FLAT TRUCK. THE SAME BIG FANCIERS WILL STILL HOLD THEIR OWN AS MOST FANCIERS STILL ONLY SEND ARROUND 20 OLDBIRDS WEEKLY AND ARROUND 30 YOUNGBIRDS WEEKLY. JMO

try putting them in a section on their own with a nest bowl and tobaco stalks ,plus give them a bit of hemp seed to fire them up, they should pair after a few days,just leave them alone until they pair good luck.

25 pound isnt much if you sell a few birds over the year,i havent paid yet but will in the new year,it helps the forum so a good idea.i think its a small price to pay for advertising your surplus birds.

leighton my birds dropping are nothing like that at the moment,what you feeding them mate and are you giving them anything else to firm up the droppings,the droppings look great but i know for sure mine wont be like that when im racing!
