I am sending a 4 yo cock who was 2nd sect clermont last year 589mls and a 5yo hen who was 1st sect 11th open tours 708mls 2years ago think there will be around 10 - 12 birds going from our club all just under 700mls Forecast looks good!! Wish there were more doos sent to this race as this is the ultimate test . Easy for me to say as i would race from the gates of hell given the opprtunity Good luck to all competing!!
I asked him to bring me his race entry print out and could not believe what i saw his set time was 23/10/06 14:08:53s And his clocks time was 29/12/45 22:12:37s And to top that off his birds were marked on 07/12/93 20:49:33s What happened?? Goodness knows. I printed a strike report and all now seems okay
Blankety blank for me!! Gutted as i had 4 experienced doos away!! A mirror job methinks 4 derek and the race had been cleared from the clock He put the birds over the sensor with the pocket clock in the base and they did not record so i told him to try them again with pocket clock out to see if they would record.
Just looking at my base just now as it is still awaiting an alencon arrival( i have approx. 12 mins before im out of race time and the averages) and it is saying 6 marked when i have only 4 at the race??? I give up
A clubmate has just rang me to say he got home today to find his 2 alencon birds in the loft but neither had recorded on hi ets! He then removed his pocket clock from the base and put his birds over the sensor, this time he heard the bleep and the base station confirmed 2 rings arrived. He then put the pocket clock back in the base and the birds were not there!! It also said he had 4 birds marked when it was only 2!! Alencon was the only race in his clock as the fed race was struck off and killed Sunday night? A real puzzler?? Starting to lose faith as this is not the first problem we have had
Just off the phone to a fancier in the wirral who tells me the north west combine libbed at Messac at 10am amd are having a tough race. A small amount of birds in Liverpool around 7:30ish but a lot not seen a doo
Just rung libline SNFC heldover, raining at racepoint, full cloud cover up through France, rough in the channel. Prospects for an early lib tomorrow looking good.
