  5. i have a very good friendship with my children's head teacher at school and i have been in and done small talks in school with my bird and my son has taken them in and shown them twice and the children really enjoyed it we have also had our bunnies in and the dog and when we had a pony they had him at the summer fair unfortunatly we had to rehome the pony due to loosing our grazing land to developer's and could not afford to keep him on a livery yard but i have had fun at school' with the children handling the birds and watching them fly circle's the off to the house
  6. yes this maybe the case but if they also spent more time to protect our great birds they may recieve more support and donation's

  11. i think this is great idea as we need more recognition fromother sport's hobby's and more so the general public more so we need to make the public aware that a pigeon is not a dirty flying rat as they see them now due to the ferrals they need to see what our bird's do and give to us i have made my neighbour's aware of this and most look forward to me letting my birds out now and are amazed by my roller's and there opinion has changed totaly to a pigeon

  14. the problem people have is poor service from amtrak or so i thought so it would make no sense to do that as amtrak would still handle the birds and there for there would be a chance of horror
  15. i have let them know that they should get in touch with the rpra to let them know they offer this service
  16. well said/shouted that man
  17. they are willing to give it another go if we can show them it will be worth it i just wanted to get us another service that we can rely on and who will take care of our birds whilst in their care

  19. i wish i had won the lotto LOL i expected to pay around the £200-£250 for them i am putting money aside each week for the birds as i would really like to get into flying them in comp's i only have 1 worry and that is i live directly under pylon lines but that hasn't affected the birds i have now
  20. not sure what weeks they were mike said throughout may. I have done this of my own back and have no involvement with any person's at AMdeliveries i keep hearing stories about amtrak and remembered looking at a post about this service and got in contact with them as i will need to use the service in the future and was told that they no longer do the pigeon service to which i have responded by trying to help get us as a fancy a better service than the one currently available from amtrak before you put it up we need to get them to start the service back up again Jimmy

I have just spoken to mike and if he gets a possitive response from us he will be willing to give it another try he has asked me to post the e-mail address on the site's and he would like anybody who will be willing to support him and use his service to let him know so come on guys and girls if we can show him it is wotrth it we may well be able to get all birds collected and delivered in safety instead of worrying about the dreaded AMTRAK nightmare stories amdeliveries@hotmail.com
  22. well the ball is in our court now if we can get him to see it as a worty buisness he will give it another run time to see if the amtrak nightmare stories will carry on and if the people on here are going to give these a try so all is down to us now
