be careful with this method as they may not return as they will be scared and this isn't always the answer as they will move over to the next roof or so i found but if you have a couple of old birds let them out with them and they encourage them to fly

i have a young pair in the nest that are showing colour now but i think that the cock bird rearing them is not the father cock as they seem to be showing the colour of 1 of my other cocks do you think this is possible for him to have ferilised her egg's even though she is paired to another cock and him another hen just had a bit of an affair LOL

i have never seen it happen before and only noticed because 1 of the yb had a foul smelly mouth and crop looked strange so i squeezed out the contents and there they were slugs and worms among the seed i'm gonna keep the oldbirds in till the yb are weaned
