  4. not sure of this problem but i would just pop round and have a quiet word with this neighbour and ask her how can she be sure it's your birds i have no problem with my birds flying out my neighbours enjoy watching them flying out.Do as i did show them how interesting your birds are when i had racers i got 1 neighbour to take me out on training with my basket of birds 30 miles away and he sat in loft with me waiting for them to return was fascinated he now calls round regular to see the birds he has his favorite so all is well here try the same

Apparently, a Cambridge study has shown that people dont read every letter in a word, and as long as the first and last letters are in the right place, the rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. amazing don't you think? And i thought spelling mattered My 9 year old even followed that with no problems

    Losses?

    That was what i was told by an old fancier if a bird is healthy it should be able to fight illness itself if you use anti-biotics it weakens the birds imune system therefore leaving the bird open to other illnesses but i am no vet and neither was the chap who told me he has however had birds for 40+ years and he lost more birds since vaccinations were compulsory than ever he now keeps a few for his own pleasure and no longer races just a point
  13. i am not seperating them now the other pair have now laid so they are fine and doing a great job so better left alone i will be seperating the pairs after weaning
  14. Sorry if you were offended but if you have been in the sport then you must know that to identify the bird you need the full details on the ring to be sure who's bird it is

  17. know where you coming from but the bird is no good to anybody if it not registered to them only the owner will claim it also if you put number on here people will be able to tell you which club it comes from and possibly the owner
  18. i thought that people selling birds on here had to donate to the site to help with the cost of running thing's and if not that should be the case
  19. if he comes back in i will be keeping him i say him as i am sure he's a he don't think he is that old if he come's in again i will be after an almond hen or silver for him to pair with next year i hope he come's back in will post a pic if and when he does return
  20. i have took your advice mikkey and i have also passed it on to a few people as i have done this before and lost out in the end
  21. will do but i had to do it he was in a real bad way alot of bad feather damage i just took a few away from lower wings and his tail is gone as it was mainly made of quill have treated him and will keep my fingers crossed he is a real good bird is it correct that with no ring or stamp he is mine unless claimed by somebody
  22. i would take the time no matter what sad news is he escaped when i was trying to take his photo he sat across the road from me on the roof laughing i'm sure LOL he wasn't amused with the bath and me pulling his rotten feather's i will always care for any birds i come across as it was taking in a stray that started my whole hobby off and i have had great enjoyment from my birds apart from a few bad thing's 2 hawk attacks

  24. was thinking same thing but it to far for me again travel is my problem i'm going to build my kit boxes soon once baby is born and i am also gunna buy a shed and convet it
