4 more hens were on open loft one flew back to old loft and came back 1 hour later other 2 played around garden and one didn't venture out of loft , been busy decorating and laying a laminate floor in utility room , also had builders in to start new bathroom so not had time to shift some more hens tonight but will shift another 5 tomorrow night . Run to tip tomorrow with loads of rubbish me backs killing now just thinking of it

early morning nice and cool weather permitting quick fly get the steam out of them before going then they head for home rather than free to roam

lol I think if they have a good look around before they take off they return only lost one and he got out over me head

there's ten young birds there if flying well and can get a few tosses in they'll get come back races if not hopefully will have plenty of 2 year old's to go at if I can get them settled No more ybs will be bred this year I didn't intend on having any lol

why medicate birds if they were fine ????

think by weekend will have a good few to pair to cocks

No not easy too many options , and not wanting to loose any so far one yearling cock lost , he got out as I opened loft door up and away didn't look around the one that looked around before heading home came back 24 hours later once got a bit of a flock going around will double up the hens Then probably get hens in with cocks and open them up plenty of straw on garden fer nesting material and a bath out plenty of distraction methods and natural behaviour taken in to consideration lol

Another fresh hen going out today if cocks chase hens should settle cocks once paired that's me theory

2 had been hanging around managed to get them in aint seen other 2 but they may work there way in yet got 6 younger ones off kirky which a few have been in and out , you forget how tricky it is with ybs getting them back in loft never mind strong ybs lol
