  7. how can you possible measure the worth of a pigeon on a yb season ? the so called rubbish that was not in the top 200 , could quite easily be surpassed by any of the other pigeons sold if continued as yearlings and 2 year olds , as anyone knows not all good young birds make good old birds
  8. one for next season then lol ;D ;D ;D ;D
  9. sounds like a better use for site
  10. also used to fly that race point hated it was a terrible place to fly from , Billerclay much better and was told it was too close to the airports as well
  11. i have sent you a pm top right hand side click on pms
  12. even the Irish are well ahead of us then about time the R.P.R.A moved with the times
  13. thats progress from last time i asked via a letter to the editor of the BHW was many years ago but i cant see them doing it any day soon unless fanciers put it to there region i wonder how much this would move the golden miles in feds ?
  14. i brought up gps many years ago as they use them on boats and they seem unwilling to move with the times and say gps is not acurate enough , as Roland rightly says we have progressed along since then even have goole earth with our back garden in the satalite image if we have this technology surely we should be using it but i think the work in doing all the recaculations would be frightening i supppose they could do individual feds at a time then national clubs but they wont
  15. well if they have used this method then there measurements are questionable as have been done differently to everyone else so would make any race they won void if there measurement was to be verified
  16. i see you have shown them the basket lol ;D ;D ;D ;D
  17. are you experiencing wet dropping from ybs around the nest ? maybe there yearlings feeding ? they tend to pump the ybs up with water in order to fill them resulting in the wet droppings
  18. have to agree
  19. yup be ten years before they decide they haven got a department for the job ;D ;D ;D ;D

i think your refering to the Belgium koytee system although the results are great the birds arent very sociable
  22. i think all clubs should have same set of rules for club flying and fed flying , any 2 bird or 4 bird clubs should be clubs within a club and be optional , members should be allowed to send as many birds as they like after all theres only so many prizes they can fill , quality will always beat quantity and besides these make it cheaper for otheres sending less birds , reducing birds been sent doesnt make for a better result it makes it look weak . I fly in a invitation club and anyone within our radius does get in we have even opened up to include people that have applied and is a great friendly club to fly in .
  23. be nice to see a kit of 12 birds flying was told many years ago tumbles gone out of them due to been bred mainly for shows , can see why hawks have a field day when type is more important than performance
  24. nice i thought they'd be more tumbler like 3 tidy rotations like a westy ?
