thats one problem that needs resolving as you'd need a licence to catch them via trapping and relocating
-
well radio would be a good platform to get this problem highlighted you would need to get as many facts from the R.S.P.B Red list and a panel consisting of local mp and someone from R.S.P.B then your good self or someone who will put there view across without alienating themselfs from looking like they want all bops killed , the bill that was passed in Parliment should be revoked as it was passed to protect these bops from extinction , there are simply not endangered the fact is there thriving in overpopulated numbers , we dont want to see them extinct all we want is where these birds are attacking our lifestock to be able to protect our life stock legaly , then the bops will only be controled where there causing a nuisance and not been pesicuted just because there bop . i wish you well Willow , and im here at your disposal as would many fanciers to try and help you in this fight Regards OLDYELLOW

-
I'd be complaining to council i wouldnt want to be paying for the bops twice , see if you can have a reduction in council tax
-
they arent bali bells there pipes like flutes :-/ thought the noise generated would deter bops :-/
-

have read about these some time ago thought id share them with you all :)http://www.eaglehunter.co.uk/Equipment/Chinese/Ch_Pigeon.html

Quite right and also were loads of butterflies last year , the less small birds there are the more likely farmer will have no choice but to go back to the old pesticides of old then the bops will have serious problems from the toxins present

86 ,000 members sign there petion 276 signed a pigeon one to change the law , i can go on about the near extinction of the skylark , the cuckcoo , and other birds sucessfully put on the red list by R.S.P.B pollocys and what used to be quite a few common birds such as sparrow and blue tit , they put this down to to everything but bops , that fact is the cuckcoo relies on other species to raise its young and its the decimation of viable nest sites of other species by bops and the cuckcoos this is happening , if they want things to be controlled naturaly then no injured hawk should be be taken care for mended and put back out to kill again as natures about Survival of the fittest , even during the last cold spell many bops would of perished as it would natural reduce the numbers but no they catch them feed them back up the release again , then theres release programmes the kite is not a natural british bird and has only recently be reintroduced there everywhere now , but try to leave eagle owls out in the wild they claim there not english birds when the fact is they are , but they can legaly remove these why ?????? double standard saying shouldnt medal with nature and they do it day in and day out to make money , lets look at another scheme they wanted set aside for farmers by goverment farmer out at Flamborough were urged to plant crops and leave them for the wild life end result a plague of rats the truth is whenever the R.S.P.B has medaled with nature they've never got it right ever !!!!!!! rant over

sorry to hear i've just lost one but its one more than i wanted to loose thats a years worth of work gone in a second and cant draw any conclusions from that pairing , i truely feel for the plight of all fanciers in this position
-
another glorious day , im in fear of letting the birds out which is a dam shame , i shall clean out after took our lass to town then let them out ill clean them before they go out then can be at the ready with my camera to see if i can identify the bop thats causing me to loose birds
-
well i wouldnt let birds out in heavy fog or mist as weather can change and get far worse the problem lies with wires and areils so high strong winds a no no as well , i wouldnt let birds out in heavy rain either , light rain i would let them fly in , however feed at same time but obviously if arent out flying they need less feed or they'll get fat , its all about keeping them from injury and stress as much as possible and maintaing good health , i tend to find if raining to heavy birds will sit about and try to bathe in the heavier rain so not the best way to keep them under control , control your birds with feed set feeding times this keep them happy as know your going to be there at same times each day all the best for 2010 hope you have a great season ahead regard Mark

rule is ets has to be within confines of loft or trapping system so if inside avairy it would meet with , think rules should be bird must enter trapping system before can be clocked electronicaly
-
probably means another change of rules : to place pad wherever you feel the most benifit lol , makes a mockery out of the rules kick him out for ungentlemanly conduct no doubt would sue for breach of human rights cant win !!!!!

Well i realy feel for those having bop attacks , as most will know i have had attacks last year and the year before , glorious day today thought id let birds out and yup you can guess losted a red hen gutted , its not happened around loft otherwise i'd of seen it however two birds were missing for some time only one returning i've looked all way around so it must of been a peragrine or female sparrow no feather nothing gutted

cant send pm but here goes : build a little caged or have a sputnik so can get used to been outside but enclosed open loft door but ensure your there and dont spook them by moving too quickly move as if in slow motion spend plenty of time inside the loft sitting with the ybs you'l soon get them tame and used to everything ensure there not over fed and food is fed when they have re entered the loft dont leave food down all the time , you shouldnt go too wrong Regards Mark
