You get big senders in every corner of UK not just England , only difference is you could say in an argument the terrain in Wales similar to Scotland so a good test over similar terrain , I welcome these flyers as these keep my overall costs down supplying many birds for only a handful of prizes only ever one winner of a race why keep a loft of also flown's beaten by loft mate and so on

Most my club members fly around 10 birds a week I find the phrase English and mob flyers insulting to say the least , at maximum I race 36 young birds and 18 pair of old birds at full capacity , think have 12 pair for next year 24 birds :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

Things to do seems a never ending list : (1) Pair up (2) finish two mini aviary's / trapping bays (3) rewire lights ets sytem (4) build new steps to loft (5) build a kit box , and not pigeon related (6) finish patio off for gazebo

When older members in our club have been un well most of members have chipped in to help in past , be nice to think you could get a club member's up and do a day each , shame there aint a young lad interested that could help you out. I know my friend Billy had a hard time with the oxygen , and moving takes the air right out of you , he ended up been a partner and shared costs with a friend and bred a few in small shed at his back door , most of which his wife saw to them , and his mate just updated him on how they were doing . I suppose really there's never a good time and at least moving odd bird be easy enough ( I hope ) , am going to get an old bar stool for loft so that will help for a while until I've recovered fully

Well I've cleaned all lofts out , cleaned all nest bowls , was ready for Blackpool , but got my date for an operation on 18th so will be pairing sometime after then all depending on my recovery supposed to be about a week , so i reckon around 23rd For pairing up for me

Think most be getting decs down and sorting birds out for breeding / pairing / doing wind damage repairs and stuff

Bet that's made yer year already You'l have less hiding places fer them bop to be As you say lofts unhurt so got away lightly , watching news and on facebook and on here seems not many places have got away from the winds , when driving to hospital today not much damage around here just one fence gone plenty of bins over and odd few fallen branches

If anything it's done you a favour really it's down and not damaged anything and one less place for a bop to land to ambush yer birds
