Good luck to you all Damian, my neice went through the same thing so there is light at the end off the tunnel. Kids never realy understand whats going on but always make the best of there lot! Phil
  5. And i'd heard Duncans built to last!
  6. I use both but prefer crates, I put grilles in the bottom with newspaper underneath, easy to clean and no shavings etc left in your car! Phil
  7. Send them an e-mail Damian and ref to pigeonbasics site. They did contact me the night before collection and I rang them in the morning to tell them where the birds would be and there were no problems at all. Phil
  8. Stayed at the Norbeck a couple of times a few years ago, dinning room was a nightmare, huge ques for the food bars at meal times, it was then on hotels from hell but has now been done up. Have also stayed at the Imperial until they gave me food poisoning and wife found prawns in her veggie meal then last year stayed at the Hilton.
  9. well done!
  10. Amar, if you are a junior then ask the RPRA about there clock loan scheme!
  11. Where are you Chriss, good supply of rabbits as well if you want some?
  12. J.A.M, better straight from the loft, the shot plays havoc with me fillings!
  13. A while ago I beleive, but Chris knows more as he was involved with trying to round up the iresposible actions of the pratt to put it politly!
  14. Its a shame you don't know him Paul as he is so local to you! Sure you would have been able to have his birds etc to get you started!
  15. Agreed J A M!, oh and i bet those poor fish feel those nasty sharp hooks! When fox hunting with dogs was banned they didn't forsee that there are more foxes killed now than were ever killed by hounds!
  16. trouble is these days it is difficult to clear them with out the doogooders getting on there soap box.
  17. Spin Cycle, these days its such a performance to get a shotgun licence which would be required for this shoot along with maybe a game licence that the majority taking up the oportunity will know what they are doing. Phil Chris, the fancier should have been shot! Do you know him Paul?
  18. I was brought up shooting and if you can't tell the difference between woodie and racer you shouldn't be shooting! Its a shame more ferels arn't shot as its them that give ours a bad name! Paul10121968, theres a lot near you that want shooting i understand some ex fancier just dumped his birds out on the street and got rid of the lofts! It would certainly do the council a favour to shoot em and get them gone!
  19. They'll eat them quite happily once they get to grips with the size, have even caught em eating acorns!
  20. Well done Ted, i'm sure most of us havn't got birds to match there performances but if we can't help others in there hour of need its a poor show!
  21. the reason for Davids low shelf is that I clipped her flights to prevent her from coming out with the others.
  22. Don't worry about her feathers it the time of year when they are moulting and in a couple of weeks she will look as good as new around her head and neck. She prob won't lay on the floor with you around but prob does when your not there. If she can't fly then try giving her a low shelf to get up onto as she will feel safer on there rather than on the floor. Phil
  23. I have started this as a new thread, and hope, as Flighty is in contact with the Gill's she will pass on any offers. If you would like some youngbirds in the spring then please let me know to help you back on your way? Phil
  24. Are they not just dealers though Vallance?
