    Newbury yesterday?

there were torential storms around yesterday, i cam back from Oxford via Swindon yesterday afternoon and the water was running down the road, the drains couldn't cope with it! If the birds hit any of these sudden storms they would have gone down!
  4. twice in the last couple of weeks i've been a 3rd of the youngbirds missing at night but all have worked back. Because a lot of these are new birds i hope its a sign they have the intelligence to find there own way back which will stand them in good stead latter!

  7. wouldn't it be nice to see a basket of pigeons at every parade and celebration in memory of the events!
  8. They should always be remembered and i hope they won't ever be forgotten, RIP
  9. totaly agree, but if the youngbirds appear to be ok but are carrying something as they have built up imunity then and new additions are likely to catch it and go down hill. Yes if the stock and youngbirds are 100% there should be no problem but how many would know they are 100% if they don't show any symptems?
  10. The older youngbirds will have built up imunity and there is an underlying problem in your youngbird section. When you put youngerbirds into a section with older youngbirds the squeakers won't have a lot of imunity and will catch anything the others may be carrying. Isolate the problem birds and allow them to recover but get the others tested so they can be treated correctly.
  11. as these yb's are only 2 weeks old were they weaned into a section with older young birds?
