  1. The majority are always willing to help. A rabbit hutch will do, need to make sure its high enough to be away from cats, dogs, foxes, rats etc. The prob with a rabbit hutch is the space limitation, no room to breed and expand your team. Get your parents to take you to Bob's or Gooners and see whats involved themself and then you may get permission to have your shed which will benefit you in the long run as will having parents on your side. Life rings!!!!!

i think they will be available in 2010 as the RPRA had already ordered the 2009 rings when these became available.
  3. you maybe able to pick up a 6 x 4' shed cheaply that you can convert into a small loft.
  4. I agree, although off subject if somebody feels the need to use a 2nd name they clearly have a hidden agenda and something to hide! Name, shame and ban em!
  5. they'll demand glass barriers are removed now!
  6. was there not a case last year where the council just went and removed/killed birds?
  7. I think there are enough one-loft races but it would be nice to have an UK international where all members of the uk can compete with a single lib.
  8. hungry enough that they trap straight away
  9. The one lofts like to think they are the best, best birds, best corn, full time care, purpose built transport etc etc so wouldn't it feel good to beat them in these races?
  10. Maybe a compramise would be to allow these birds to be convoyed with large organisations but not compete with them just compete with the other 1 loft entrents. Its not viable for RPRA to send the trailer to France etc with 100 birds so these races provide valuble training for the main event.
  11. when you are training is there somebody waiting to call them in when they get home? If not the problem is the birds will beat you home and sit on the roof waiting for you! In an ideal world cut the food back let somebody else take them training and the second the birds return call them in with food in the hopper waiting for them, when they get to know there is food waiting on there return they will go straight in on there own and not be interested in sitting on the roof.
  12. prob more suited to national racing
  13. i've got some spare rings for free if you need them! ;)

    Baby milk

seem to remember Phillips youngbirds were way to advanced in the moult come racing which i think was caused by using whey
  19. What i will say, i've got some youngsters in the race team direct from Martins stock and bred from a pair purchased from martin as latebreds last year. They are preforming well and showing promise, they will be tested on natural but all is looking good so far!
