    PEDIGREES

;D ;D ;D i think that dna should be put on most pedigrees[ D.o N.ot A.gree ] I BELEIVE MOST PEDIGREES GIVEN BY UNSCRUPULOUS SELLERS ARE FALSE i agree with pedigrees from genuine fanciers or freinds, for the reason of keeping tabs with the breeding, and for your own use only, ie how close are you breeding , what pairs are producing.or what combination are breeding the best, etc :)
  7. peanuts ,not for human consumtion, can be sprayed with milton, dried and fed to the birds???
  8. facts are at the moment, there are no confirmed cases in the uk, and up to now inland racing is possible, [ that may change, but not as yet]

  14. :) AT THE MOMENT IM USING WOOD SHAVINGS, AND SCRAPING THE AVIARY, ITS LOVELY CLEAN AND DRY IN THE LOFT, EASY RAKED,, BUT AS JASON SAYS , YOU TRAIL IT EVERYWHERE AND CAN MAKE SOME MESS,, I JUST KEEP AN OLD, PAIR OF BOOTS FOR THE LOFT ONLY, CHANGE THEM AT THE BACK DOOR :)[ BUT SOMETIMES I FORGET :)
  15. I THINK ITS BETTER TO HAVE YOUR LOFT CLEAN, BUT NO AMOUNT OF SCRAPING OR SPRAYING IS GOING TO MAKE IT" STERILE CONDITIONS" THERES DIRT, AND THERES DIRT??
  16. wonder if the" so called papers"would say about the least talked about birds ,during this bird flu danger time THE PREDATORS, BIRDS OF PREY,,, THEVE ALLREADY BEEN FOUND INFECTED IN OTHER COUNTRIES , THE RSPB ARE PROTECTING THESE AND IN FACT RELEASING THEM TO BREED, SOME OF THESE SPECIES MIGRATE AS WELL,SURELY THEY WOULD POSE A GREAT DANGER TO THE SPREAD OF THIS DESEASE, THEY FEED ON ALL SORTS OF AVIANS [bIRDS] THEY COULD EASILY BE EATING ,AND FEEDING THERE YOUNG WITH INFECTED BIRDS,,,, WITH THIS THREAT AROUND US, THEY ARE MORE LIKE FLYING RATS????

;D ;D ;D thought it was a penguin ;D ;D ;D pedigrees can be usefull if their honest, but it doesnt make the bird any better
  18. no reply to me yet,,,, but was thinking about sending story[ as nonpigeon flier] about the hawks never getting a mention, these bird could eat infected birds and spread any desease ,yet the rspb are protecting and releasing these birds ,to do exactly that, some of these birds migrate as well, i personally think they pose a serious danger, theve allready been found with bird flu in other countries,,just might give the papers something else to talk about??? p.s like fifers post
  19. ;D ;D ;D think ill just send the wallpaper to ray ;D ;D ;D for spite ;D ;D ;D ;D only kidding ray ;D ;D ;D
  20. its maybe time to get something organised, best female flier, best young flier ,age groups to be decided, and best newcomer to a club this year ,and, well the oldies will just have to put up with the wall paper, cant even get rid of it now ;D ;D ;D, but they say the antique road shows comming near me ;D ;D ;D,so theres hope yet ;D ;D ;D im sure we could donate half a dozen trophies, and ybs for next year,,just a thought, anyone else likewise minded, or change it in some way, maybe get some thoughts on it now,as were now heading for march
  21. i only have a small 8by 6 shed with an 8by 6 aviary the aviary is scraped every day and the boxes scraped every day , the shed has a deep litter of shavings which are bone dry and changed regulally[ birds cannot get out ,due to housing rules. when i raced them, i had 4 lofts all scraped out twice every day
  22. AGREE WITH YOU ROSE, BUT WITH A BACK UP OF THE FANCIERS, BUT QUICK, BEFORE ITS NOT NEWS
  23. YES,, GEZ THEIR A PAIN IN THE A,,,
  24. AS I SAID ON THE BIRD FLU POST, THE PRESS CAN MAKE OR BREAK YOU, BUT LOOKING ON THE GOOD SIDE, IF THIS IS RETRACTED, IT WOULD ACTUALY DO THE FANCIERS A FAVOUR, [iVE E MAILED THEM AS WELL,AS SHOULD EVERY ONE IN MY OPINION]
  25. IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT THE PRESS CAN MAKE OR BREAK YOU, STILL ON THE GOOD SIDE IF THEY RETRACT THIS IT WOULD ACTUALLY,DO US A FAVOUR,[ IVE E MAILED THEM AS WELL]
